“New Meanings, New Situations, New Spaces” Panel

Özyeğin University City and Architecture Master's Programs with/without Thesis (KMI) organized a panel with interactive discussions on city, architecture and Istanbul within the framework of the theme “New Meanings, New Situations, New Spaces”. Concepts about city within the framework of the themes of Palimpsest City, Urban Resilience, Rural-Urban, Future, Multiple Crises, urban concepts were discussed in the panel moderated by KMI board members Dr. Demet Mutman Uluengin and Dr. Derya Yorgancıoğlu on 24 May 2024 at Salt Galata with the participation of KMI program coordinator Prof. Dr. Hülya Turgut, architect Melike Altınışık, founder of Melike Altınışık Architects (MAA), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Funda Uz (ITU) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Aslan (ITU).
