The Opening Ceremony for the 2025–2026 Academic Year Held by the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye

The “2025-2026 Academic Year Opening Ceremony,” organized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), was held on October 9, 2025, at the National Congress and Culture Center within the Presidential Complex, with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in attendance.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education, as well as representatives from public institutions and organizations, members of the Council of Higher Education, ambassadors, rectors, academics, and students.

Representing Özyeğin University, our President Prof. Barış Tan was accompanied by faculty members Prof. Gökhan Özertan, Prof. İrem Demirkan, Assistant Prof. Şükriye Esra Baskan, and students Merva Özçelik, Seval Gürçay, Ertuğ Demirbaş, and Yüksel Kalemoğlu.
