Özyeğin University Takes the Classroom Beyond Its Walls: “Our Route is the Republic”

Özyeğin University successfully hosted the inaugural event of its “Classes Beyond the Classroom” initiative on November 7, 2025. Designed as an experiential education project, “Classes Beyond Classroom” reflects Özyeğin University’s commitment to student transformation and to excellence in education and the university experience.

The project’s first event, “The Route of the Republic,” took students on a memorable journey through Dolmabahçe Palace, Taksim Square, İstiklal Street, and Galata Tower, guided by Asst. Prof. Mustafa Batman. During this unique experience, students explored not only iconic landmarks but also the historical transformation, stories, and living spirit of the city of Istanbul.
