Duyarlı Kutu – Celebrating April 23!

Saying, “Children Should Smile Not Just Once, but Always,” we are organizing the eighth edition of the Duyarlı Kutu Project this year.

Our project, which we launched in 2011 to bring a smile to the faces of children affected by the Van earthquake, will this year support Nişantepe Primary School. We warmly invite you to be a part of this solidarity.

This year, we are adopting a support model that aims to reach all students at Nişantepe Primary School. Within this scope, you may directly deliver the materials you would like to contribute for the gift packages to our stand, and our volunteers will prepare them as Duyarlı Kutus accordingly. In addition, while each student will receive a gift package, various shared-use materials will also be delivered to teachers for classroom use.

You can support the project in two ways:

• You may provide the materials listed for the gift packages, namely the Duyarlı Kutus, that will be delivered to the students.
• You may also support the classrooms by donating basketballs, volleyballs, footballs, chess sets, and mangala game sets for shared use.

All collected gifts will be delivered to the students of Nişantepe Primary School by Duyarlı ÖzÜ Volunteers as part of the April 23 celebrations.

Please do not forget to include an April 23 note when delivering your materials. The information of the student for whom a Duyarlı Kutu will be prepared in your name will be shared with you in the coming days.

Note: You may either deliver all the items on the list or only the items of your choice.

Materials must be delivered by hand no later than Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 16:00 to the stand at Student Center -1 or to the Social Change Volunteers Office (Student Center, Floor -2, Office 2B24E).

Through this project, your small contribution will turn into a big smile on a child’s face.
