Ms. Burçin Türkkan took her B.Sc. degree from Bilkent University, Tourism and Hotel Management Program. She holds a Certified Hospitality Instructor title by AHLEI, and Graduate Certificate in Leadership in 21st Century Organizations by Copenhagen Business School. She recently got accepted to the MBA Program of Johnson and Wales University. She has studied, worked and lived in six different countries. For the past twenty years, she has been living in one of the fastest growing cities in the USA, Atlanta, Goergia. Her Hospitality and Travel Industry career began twenty-four years ago, working at SETUR, one of Turkey's largest Travel Agency Operations. She continued with teaching at Bilsit AHLA and Başkent University Hospitality courses. In 2000, she founded USEH International in Istanbul, Turkey and in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. In 2004, she joined American Hospitality Academy as an associate partner. Her career evolved to include several other entrepreneurships such as business consulting to International investors interested in starting a business in the USA or finding business/investment partners within the USA. Ms. Burçin Türkkan is currently the Senior Vice President of Skål International for 2021 and the Founder/Managing Director at USEH International Inc., an HR Consulting firm offering international talent management consulting for the hospitality industry for twenty years. She is one of the associate partners with American Hospitality Academy including Culinary Diploma Programs with four international campuses worldwide. Ms. Burçin Türkkan is going to make a presentation about “Changes in Talent Needs in the Hospitality Globally - Current Updates on Covid-19 Pandemic” in the Seminar course.
