Cem Ersöz obtained his B.Sc. degree from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Physics Engineering in 2006 and M.Sc degree in Air Transport Planning and Management from the University of Westminster in 2014. Dr. Ersöz received his Ph.D. in Statistics from Yıldız Technical University in 2023 .

During his undergraduate years he worked as a student assistant at Istanbul Technical University's physics labs and after graduation, he worked as a lab assistant at Isik University's physics labs for 2 years.

Cem Ersöz worked as an Aircraft Loadmaster for MNG Airlines for 3 years. He also took part in short-term logistics and marketing projects for various companies.

Having studied the impact of economic recessions on airlines in his master's thesis, he continues his research on statistical data analysis and applications of complex networks theory in the aviation industry.

Cem Ersöz has given various lectures on behalf of Özyeğin University Faculty of Aviation and Aeronautical Science since 2016.
