Biography
Kerem İlaslan obtained his B.Sc. degree from the Food Engineering Department at Hacettepe University, Turkey in 2011. He was granted a scholarship “Republic of Turkey Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology SAN-TEZ” and obtained his M.Sc. degree at Hacettepe University. His master thesis was titled, “Research of Uncontrolled Inversion and Cold Melting Problems of Hard Candies and Proposals for Solutions”. His two papers which were based on fat adulteration in bakery products and determination of carbohydrate compositions of commercial soft drinks by Raman spectroscopy were published at international journals.  Currently, he is studying on the water adsorption characteristics of hard candies and adulteration of pomegranate juice. He is continuing his Ph.D. studies at Hacettepe University, Department of Food Engineering.
