Dr. Sevgi Usta was graduated from the University of İstanbul in 1983. After the completion of internship at İstanbul Bar, she started to work at the University of İstanbul, Faculty of Political Sciences in 1986. She obtained her M.A. and Ph.D from Social Sciences Institute of the Istanbul University in 1988 and 1995. She worked at the University of İstanbul from 1986 to 2013 and currently is working at the University of Ozyeğin. She gives lectures on Family Law, Marital Property Regimes, Children Rights, and Social Protection Law.
