The Özyeğin University Graduate Computer Science Program will admit students as of the Spring semester of the 2014-2015 academic year. Application period has started. Students who seek to specialize in the industry, as well as the European Commission and TÜBİTAK funded research projects are invited to our graduate program with generous scholarship opportunities.

The Özyeğin University Graduate Computer Science Program offers a world-class education to its students to prepare them as the pioneers of change and development who will contribute to sciences, industry applications, the national economy and the business world; and who are vested with team-working and personal development skills. The goal of the program is to contribute to the global economy and the business world by promoting entrepreneurship in high technology.

The program aims to build a strong international student body with both Turkish and international students; and will be further enriched with intensive international activities and collaborations to expose students to a wide array of opportunities for international and cross-cultural interaction.

The Özyeğin University Graduate Computer Science Program offers a rich curriculum with core courses that will enable students to gain specialization in an area they prefer as well as research and development projects that will allow students to put their knowledge into practice.

Graduate students and their lab and research groups will produce new research projects at Özyeğin. The outputs of research projects conducted by faculty members, postdoc research assistants, graduate and undergraduate students will culminate in articles in technical journals, conference proceedings, patents and even new high-tech startups. Main research interests of the Özyeğin University Graduate Computer Science Program are intelligent systems, cloud computing, web technologies, multi-core and distributed data processing, programming languages and technologies, software engineering, networks (wireless and sensor), image and sound processing, computer vision, cognitive and computational neuroscience, human-robot interaction and embedded systems.
