Our President Prof. Barış Tan Hosted Prof. Kanat Kozhaahmet, Narxoz University President of Kazakhstan

Özyeğin University President Prof. Barış Tan hosted Narxoz University President Prof. Kanat Kozhakahmet and Dean of the Faculty of Law Talgat Sarsebayev on our campus. Held at the President’s Office on November 12, 2024, the meeting centered around creating possible joint programs with global impact between the two universities and collaborations that will support cooperation and provide knowledge and experience sharing between students and academic staff of both universities.

In line with the increasing business volume between Kazakhstan and Türkiye, the potential of both universities to develop sectoral cooperation with Kazakh and Turkish companies, mainly exchange and short-term programs for Executive MBA students were discussed.

Following the meeting at the President’s Office, Prof. Özlem Yenerer Çakmut, Dean of the Faculty of Law, briefed the visiting delegation on the Law Clinics in the Faculty of Law. The delegation also visited OzU-X and learned more about current activities and projects.
