FAAS - Technical Visit to İGA

Dr. Hatice Küçükönal organized a technical trip to IGA International Airport on November 27, 2024,
as part of the Airport and Operations course in the Aviation Management program at the Faculty of
Aviation and Aeronautical Sciences.
With the participation of the students taking the course and Research Assistants Barış Orak and
Rabia Demir Güven, IGA's terminal side, airside, BHS, APOC terminal operation center, airside
operation center, and ARFF units were visited.
The briefings conducted by IGA experts in each unit, along with the technical field trips undertaken,
significantly contributed to the students' practical observation and solidified their theoretical
knowledge.
