OzU Racing Successfully Represented Türkiye at the Formula Student UK

OzU Racing Team, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Polat Şendur from the Mechanical Engineering Department at Özyeğin University, returns from Formula Student UK with a remarkable achievement.

Competing at the legendary Silverstone Circuit in the IC Concept Class (Internal Combustion Engine Concept Vehicle) and AI Concept Class (AI-Assisted Driving), our students placed 6th overall among 42 international teams, thanks to their outstanding performance.

In the subcategories, the team achieved the following rankings:

• 2nd rank in Real World AI
• 3rd rank in Virtual Dynamics
• 4th rank in Engineering Design
• 6th rank in Lap Time Simulation
