Duyarlı ÖzÜ International Women’s Day Event Week

We are coming together to reflect on women’s experiences, the social norms they encounter, and the power to transform these norms. On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, the Women’s Rights Project Team of the Duyarlı ÖzÜ Volunteering Program is organizing a week of events on campus that creates space to reflect, discuss, and produce together around gender equality.

The program, prepared by our volunteer students, includes exhibitions, workshops, experience stations, and a panel discussion. From an AI-assisted visual production workshop to a Women’s Day themed collage workshop, and from a collective exhibition on gender roles to a panel bringing together speakers from different disciplines, participants will have the opportunity both to reflect together and to engage with the creative works produced by our volunteers.

The panel will feature distinguished faculty members from our Faculty of Social Sciences, Dr. Senem Timuroğlu and Dr. Ezgi Hamzaçebi.

The works produced during the workshops will be presented in a campus exhibition at the Forum Area, where they will be displayed until March 19.
