Tufts University International Advisory Board Holds 2026 Fall Meeting at Özyeğin University

The Tufts University International Advisory Board held its 2026 Fall meeting at Özyeğin University. Following the meeting, members of the Board toured Özyeğin University’s campus and gained insights into the University’s academic and research ecosystem.

On September 26, 2026, the Tufts University International Advisory Board convened at Özyeğin University. The meeting brought together Prof. Sunil Kumar, President of Tufts University, along with leaders from Tufts University’s academic and administrative units. Discussions focused on a range of topics, including Tufts University’s global development and international outlook, stakeholder engagement, social impact, and the University’s branding initiatives.

As part of the program, the Tufts delegation met with Prof. Barış Tan, President of Özyeğin University, exchanging experiences and exploring opportunities for future academic and institutional collaboration.

In his opening remarks, President Prof. Barış Tan highlighted the broader value of international university partnerships, noting that they extend beyond the exchange of knowledge and experience to foster the development of collaborative solutions to challenges facing the world.

During their campus visit, members of the Tufts University International Advisory Board learned more about Özyeğin University’s academic approach, research activities, learning environment, and university culture.
