The buildings of the future are already underway. It is very clear that high energy performance will be the new “normal” for the buildings of the future. “Scientific” and “Integrated” will be the two key concepts of this brand new era.  To this end, as Center for Energy, Environment and Economy (CEEE), we are also taking on an integrated approach in order to study all the required engineering concepts, architectural thoughts, psychological needs, and associated sociological tendencies, as well as the software amenities, and economic limitations during the necessary transition period for the buildings of the future.  Yet, such a study is only possible through multi-layered collective efforts undertaken by multi-disciplinary groups. Therefore, we are organizing a series of events to discuss and synthesize the focused perspectives of researchers from different disciplines.

The fourth of event series 'CEEE Interdisciplinary Approaches for High Energy Performance Buildings' entitled "Buildings in Near Future" will be held on June 7, 2017 at YEM (The Building Information Center), İstanbul.

We invite all interested parties to  "Buildings in Near Future" Conference which will be the first one of 2017 from Turkey within the context of EU Sustainable Week (EUSEW) Energy Days month-long (May-June) series of activities across Europe promoted by European Union to support and point out sustainable energy related studies.
