Design for Interiors talks continue in Spring'20 semester with creative professionals and academicians from the interior architecture discipline. Our first invitee is Dr. Pınar Sunar Bükülmez. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, at Bahçeşehir University. She received her B.A from Bahçeşehir University, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design in 2007. She obtained her M.A degree in Interior Architecture from M.S.G.S.Ü in 2011 and her Ph.D degree in Building Science from Istanbul Technical University in 2019. Her Ph.D thesis title was “Experimental Study on Fire Behavior of Steel–Concrete Composite Cellular Beams with Large Opening Ratio”. Her research is concerned with fire safety design, fire resistance of materials and interior architectural education.
