Sustainability Conversations - Inspiration Series | 2021 Spring Semester Program

The seminar series “Sustainability Talks”, which we have been organizing to raise awareness of complex problems our world is facing, continues as “Sustainability Conversations” this year with a more interactive structure. In addition to this structural change, we hope that our new series will also raise awareness with its new content and be a source of inspiration to us all for changing our behavior for the better. The new series will start in the Spring semester under the theme of Inspiration.

In the “INSPIRATION” series of the “Sustainability Conversations”, we will put the spotlight on the subjects that have become so interlaced in our daily lives.  Over the course of the series, we will be sharing inspiring stories of people/institutions with all our stakeholders, in particular our students. We will see that there are different alternatives to our highest consumption areas and there is another way of entrepreneurship that is more respectful both to the world and humanity. To that end, we will explore fashion/textile, cultural heritage, and food with distinguished invited speakers who hold extensive experience in their respective fields.
