City and Architecture Integrated Master's Program

We are hosting Mert Ayaroğlu as the guest of City and Architecture Integrated Program seminars this week. He will be with us on 14.12.2021 at 14.00 his presentation titled "Urban Complexity and Sustainability"

In the presentation; the city will be considered as an organism that lives, evolves, transforms and adapts in line with environmental and human-made factors. To what extent can cities be held responsible for the environmental destruction that has dragged humanity to the brink of a global crisis? How can cities transform in the face of ecological extinction? Which adaptation processes are needed to reach more livable cities? Can evolutionary design processes positively transform complex urban structures? Is a sustainable city a dream? such questions will be discussed within the scope of the seminar.
