Panel - What Can Art Do For Our Global Problems?

The first panel of the Co-Art Co-Act / yaklaş_2030 project, which explores the possibilities art possesses towards solving grand challenges, revolves around the question: “What Can Art Do for Global Problems?”. The contribution of art and artistic production to the change required for the solution of global problems, climate crisis in particular, will be discussed at the panel. In particular, with its potential for radical imagination, critical consciousness and relational thinking, art can be an important force in understanding and solving multidimensional problems, in terms of re-establishing the connection between the disciplines of science and between the human and the non-human. The panel will also evaluate the potential of art to create a cultural and paradigm shift.
