The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Gender Inequalities

Meltem Kutlu will examine the impact of artificial intelligence, a revolutionary technology transforming our lives, on gender roles and gender inequalities. Real-life examples will be presented, and the steps toward creating an inclusive and safe future built on AI technologies that minimize their negative effects will be discussed.

Biography: 
Meltem Kutlu, who graduated from METU Sociology BA and Business Administration Department Entrepreneurship minor program, later completed her MSc in Social Anthropology at London School of Economics and Political Science. She works as an Innovation Center Manager at Akbank LAB, where she started in August 2021. She is responsible of running the ReFi Türkiye program in Akbank.
