Predict the World Cup Winner with OzU Football Market

Özyeğin University launched the World Cup Football Market on 11 June, Friday, concurrently with the World Cup. Contestants strive to predict the World Cup Champion.

During the competition, each team will have a varying market price and the market price of countries that have a better chance of winning the World Cup will increase. Contestants keeping such countries in their portfolio will gain. The competition aims to encourage the youth to search and analyze; and learn to develop their prediction skills while having fun. The winners will also take home several surprise gifts.

Having previously organized seminars and competitions on prediction markets and common sense, Özyeğin University continues its researches in behavioral finance at full speed. Through the research which combines the mathematical operations with algorithms and psychological factors, it is aimed to deduce important conclusions on factors effecting the decision of participants based on the data obtained by closely monitoring the Football Market.
