MBA Luxury Hospitality Operations Management Track

This track aims to provide advanced knowledge and skills needed to become an effective manager/leader in Luxury Hospitality Operations for professionals with mid-level industry experience. Knowledge on luxury hospitality operations management will enable service professionals in all businesses to design, develop, and offer upscale experiences to their current and potential customers.  

Hospitality, with its essence focusing on human touch, anticipation of customers’ requirements and distinct needs to offer personalised experiences, has become a new asset for all businesses to create value creation and achieve excellence. Luxury is another globally emerging trend with its emphasis on experiential aspects of any service with sensory, emotional, aesthetic, and relational notions.

In line with recent global trends, Luxury Hospitality Operations Management track offers an innovative, strategic, and design-based perspective which has become a must in all service operations in today’s competitive and dynamic business environment. The track is leaded by the Hotel Management Program of the Özyeğin University Faculty of Applied Sciences which holds a seven-year ACPHA (Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration) accreditation until 2030 as the first and the only higher education program in that field in Türkiye and Europe. 

Courses offered in this track are:

• Strategic Management and Leadership for Hospitality Operations
• Experience Design and Management of Luxury Services
• Entrepreneurship in Hospitality Industry
• Food and Beverage Services Management

Executive Seminar Series are also organised to create an interactional platform between students and corporate-senior level managers for exchanging opinions, sharing experiences, and developing new stances.

Capstone project of the track will be a simulation-supported learning and management experience in a hotel property given the complex and integrated construct of hotel businesses as a state-of-the-art hospitality venue to design and manage service operations.
