Call for Nominations and Applications for the Position of Dean
Faculty of Business, Özyeğin University

Özyeğin University invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Business. The appointment will take effect on September 1, 2026. We are seeking an accomplished, innovative, and collaborative academic leader who will advance the Faculty’s excellence in research, education, and societal impact while strengthening its national and international reputation.

As the chief academic and administrative leader of the Faculty, the Dean will be responsible for advancing the Faculty’s strategic priorities in education, research, and global impact. The Dean is expected to champion academic innovation, support a culture of excellence and collegiality, and strengthen the Faculty’s visibility and reputation both nationally and internationally. Working closely with faculty members, students, alumni, and external stakeholders, the Dean will foster interdisciplinary collaboration, encourage impactful scholarship, and promote meaningful partnerships with industry, government, and the broader community. The Dean will also provide effective stewardship of the Faculty’s human, financial, and physical resources while ensuring that the Faculty’s development remains aligned with the mission, values, and strategic aspirations of Özyeğin University.

Candidates must possess a distinguished academic record that qualifies them for appointment as a full professor. They should demonstrate a sustained record of scholarly achievement, academic leadership, and success in building and supporting high-performing academic teams. Leadership experience in academic administration, such as serving as a department chair, associate dean, dean, or in a comparable role, is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be an inclusive and visionary leader with excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
